These classic mid-century designs use the graphic lines of the Birch plywood and vibrant pops of color to create pieces that will bring joy to any space. Designed exclusively for Valley Variety and made locally in Hudson, NY. We welcome custom design projects.

Niels Bendtsen founded Bensen in 1981. Born in Denmark, Bendtsen has always been exposed to design and craftsmanship. His designs are not only affordable and high in quality, but also elegant and incredibly versatile, adaptable to many different spaces with their timeless look and visual logic. Modern Woven Furniture.
Handmade in Brooklyn, NY by Kate Casey. Coming from a fine arts background with a focus on sculpture, her furniture artfully juxtaposes materials and incorporates elements of hand made joinery, Danish cord weaving, crochet, macrame and shaker techniques. The woven designs are greatly influenced by complex geometric patterning.
Tightrope Furniture & Lighting
Handcrafted in Brooklyn.
Victoria Young and Quang Hong started Tightrope in 2013 as a furniture, lighting and home goods company. Tightrope’s focus is on handcrafted and high quality designs and all pieces of their collection are designed and produced in their Brooklyn workshop. Victoria Young uses her wood and metalworking skills in leading the furniture side of the company. While Quang Hong leads the lighting side of the business pairing handcrafted elements with new lighting technology. Many designs incorporate solid wood and each piece is made from sustainable materials using low environmental impact techniques.

Based in a studio in Cape Town, South Africa, Pedersen and Lennard is an accomplished design company in residential and commercial lighting and furniture. Their bespoke range of products reflect their fascination with South African craft and the clean aesthetic of their Scandinavian forefathers.

Based in a studio in Cape Town, South Africa, James Mudge and his team of highly trained artisans produce small quantities of beautifully crafted furniture using solid woods and traditional furniture making techniques.

David Trubridge is a New Zealand based designer with a deep-rooted compassion for the environment. He works with sustainable materials, non-toxic solvents and flat-pack shipping to save on packaging materials.
