The marketing team from BuzzFeed was all hands-on for dinner prep. Chef Tim Forringer prepared the menu inspired by the freshest ingredients and oversaw the preparation of the dishes. Working among four workstations, the team of 18 moved around from task-to-task—all while enjoying light apps, delicious wines and soulful tunes.

The menu for the evening:

Massaged Kale Salad, Candied Walnuts, Lemon Mustard Vinaigrette, and Quick Pickled Radishes
Stuffed Chicken Breasts with Walnuts, Brussel Sprouts and Cheese
Side Dishes
Hand Made Potato Gnocchi with Mushroom, Thyme, Butter Sauce; and
Roasted Delicata Squash with Sage
Apple Galette with Salted Maple Whipped Cream

About the Chef
The chef is Tim Forringer. He graduated from the Culinary Institute of America and has cooked at a number of restaurants, including Union Square Cafe, The Equinox Hotel and Gigi’s Trattoria. Tim specializes in cooking Italian, Mediterranean, Asian and Austrian cuisines. He especially enjoys sharing his knowledge about different cuisines and cooking techniques with home cooks.
